The Power of a Positive Attitude

nativeamerican1A Native American boy was talking with his grandfather. “What do you think about the world situation?” he asked.

The grandfather replied, “I feel like wolves are fighting in my heart. One is full of anger and hatred; the other is full of love, forgiveness, and peace.”

“Which one will win?” asked the boy.

The grandfather replied, “The one I feed.” – Origin Unknown

This is one of those life-changing laws that never change … You become what you think about. Almost too simple to “feel important.” Yet for one to embrace the meaning, will be able to know the power of a positive attitude.

Choose to think positive thoughts, you will get positive results; if we think negative thoughts, we’ll get negative results. Think of every thought as a seed you sow in your fertile mind. Therefore, as I once heard someone say, “If you plant crabapples, don’t expect to harvest Golden Delicious.” You will reap the fruit of the thoughts you sow.

Henry Ford, the automobile maker has said, “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t … you’re right.”

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
